Defo not getting the badges!

Right - debadging, hair dryer and cotton thread right?!

Looks stupid as heck. It isn't an M5, so why is that M badge there (I know that isn't strictly an M5 badge, but still)?

Whenever I see "badged up" cars I really do wonder what the owner is trying to prove (or more accurately, fake) [rhetorical question].

You asked for an oppinion and that picture is the answer; no! Just ask yourself why you want to do it and who will be impressed. Just my oppinion but I think extra M badges are chavvy

I realize this thread is about a month old, but here’s a photo of an Infinity I35 with fake M badges. In my opinion, this isn’t much worse than non-M BMW’s with M badges stuck all over them… Either way, the owners are still posing.

I used a bit of pledge, hair dryer and some dental floss, then peeled off the adhesive and used some clay bar and detail spray to remove the last bits.

I mean why? Do VW owners go round putting 'R' badges on, Do Audi drivers stick RS badges on? Hardly at all, but BMW drivers who do it bring other BMW drivers into disrepute.

The one time i had a M3, it made me even more mad. And it seems it afflicts 5 series driver more than others. 520d's owners - you know who are. Looking more stupid as you get blown into the weeds by most hot hatches with your single exhaust pipe bellowing smoke...

In fact, lets start a name and shame sticky? Lets stick pics up of the pretenders I say.
LOL....

M badges fitted by BMW are good.

M badges fitted by customers are bad.

M-sport owners should not be ashamed of their scuff plates and wheels etc. But 520d drivers who place M badges on the back of their cars should be killed and eaten.

So, as mentioned, I'm not getting badges - so you can all relax

I'm not getting new wheels either, but I presume that getting wheels that appear as standard on a higher model are also a no no - CSL wheels on an Msport for example?
