Leather Cleaning
Hey guys,
after much research trying to figure out what the best products would be best to get rid of that greay shine on my wheel and seats, I finally decided on Dr Leather, which is a pure leather cleaner that leaves no moisturiser or feed behind, which is what makes most leather products a bit rubbish, as the leather still has a shine to it. I also got some Auto Finesse Spritz dashboard spray, which has a matt finish, is anti static and has uv protection. Before: After: Oh and a couple from my phone camera just to show its no trickery This was after having driven it for 30 minutes too (so some grease from my hands ) The difference to the steering wheel in particular is staggering, so much nicer to hold. Took a few hours to do everything, but it is unbelievably better. Also, the smell is amazing, really leathery mixed with the amazing scent of the spritz, car feels like new inside to me now

I'm glad you posted this as I've been wanting to do exactly the same (especially the wheel), I know what to get now. Thanks.
Noticed your sig. My dad has recently loaned (it's not going back and he knows it ) me his 5D MkII. I'm shite with it at the mo but can't wait to get some mods done on the car and try to take decent pictures with it. |

Been using Dr Leather for about a yr, very impressive. The wipes are handy too, recommend them for a quick once over every couple of weeks.
Cracking turn around there |

Have ordered some of the wipes to give them a go.
Ive tried a variety of leather cleaners and not been impressed with most of them - too much of a glossy sheen in most cases.

Very impressed! As above, most of what I've tried has left the leather shiny so I haven't bothered recently. I'll give this stuff a try

lovely, ive got shoe brushes and some autofiness stuff (they are only 2mins round the corner).
ive just been using warm water with washing up liquid, harsh, but does clean! and then Ive tried a variety of finishing products, at present using a leather conditioner of a horse/stable nature (its not greasey, and dries matt). lovely, ive ordered some dr leather this morning. |
