weird noise coming from engine bay

I have the exact same thing after a long/aggressive drive. No idea what it's from...just assumed it's normal?!

What year/build date is your 335i? Mine doesn't make that sound, and its an early build (July 2006)

normal. with the hood down mines ounds like the buzzer at an ice rink. keeps me company while I'm drying the beast off after a car wash...

... who the hell would avoid something like that and think "hmmm sounds completely NORMAL" .... NO ONE... BMW should advise their owners of stuff like this.... to save time and a trip to the dealership...

Mine sometimes does the clicking noise after an aggressive drive... and at rare occasions.. the fan was still on after the engine was off.... but i figured it's just cooling... but this noise (from the youtube video) is just abnormal.
