Overboost - Help?

I have been running with major overboost on both stock and MHD Tuning. It has been determined that it is a mechanical issue. I am looking for some expert insight as to what I should be looking at to fix this issue?

I just did the following:

Replaced Diverter Valve(it was worn)

O2 Sensor

Spark plugs

What would be causing this massive Overboost issue that I am having?

Solenoid lines crossed?

Something is physically keeping the waste gate closed?

Interestingly enough, I do not get the Overboost Code. Infact, I have no codes of any kind at all.

Thanks,

I replied in the MHD thread, Check my response there. My guess would be that it's either your wastegate actuator or the boost solenoid as those are the 2 major components that close the wastegate.

I also replied in mhd thread.

Check boost solenoid and vacuum lines. I had massive overboost resulting in throttle closures and half cel. I did the aforementioned things and problem solved.

It's cheap enough just to do both together. If it doesn't work, then you can look futher

Also check cp and fmic connections

Did you have the overboost before swapping the DV? Could have been installed wrong, or the wrong spring(s) used.

Yes, I did have the Overboost beforehand. Going back to shop today to see what's up.

Well, spent the afternoon at shop trying to diagnose this Overboost problem. Confirmed the following:

All lines are correct and no blockage

Wastegate Actuator is functioning smoothly

Replaced Boost Solenoid

Now I just need some decent weather to open the car up and(fingers crossed) find out if this problem is finally solved.

Now, if I find that I am still getting this Overboost, what do I do then? What should I look at next?
