BMW oil change

Hey guys,

How often do you change your oil if you are using BMW 5w30 oil? they say its some long life oil and apperently can be used longer... in my old cars i used castrol synthetic but did oil changes every 5000 or after 3 months (whichever comes first). BMW bc dash says after a year for oil to be changed when using there BMW oil.. for an e92 328i 2007 coupe..

Every 8-10K usually. Maybe 5K depending how hard the car has been driven.

I go by 10k . I personally think 5k is crazy. Friend of mine paid to have his oil analyzed and at 10k in the summer the oil was great.

Get oil from BMW or get German castrol from Canadian tire. I wouldn't trust anything else.

I go every 8000 to 10000 kilometers, so minimum twice a year. Our climate is pretty extreme, however: plus 30 in the summer, minus 30 (or worse) in winter.

I go every 8000K using Fuchs.

We do oil analysis and they say go longer, Fuchs is very good German oil.

I get from RMP

I do mine around 10,000kms with BMW oil/filter.

Maybe a little more/less depending on weather - I generally try to line up my maintenance with warm weather.
