'07 335i 122k Miles for 12500?
Hey guys, I'm completely new to BMW's and I wanted to know if this is a good deal or not?
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ctd/4194315440.html It has 122k miles, and no options from what I can see. I'm planning on going to the dealer today to check it out. What do you guys think? |

122k miles for a twin turbo BMW... I would be prepared to have a lot set aside for repairs.

Thats true, im selling mine for 13.5 but I have already taken care of major repairs I.e clutch, turbos, fuel pump etc. So if it has not been properly mantained is not much of a bargain.

Alright then, what do you guys think of these? Apologies for it being a big list, I just don't know much besides a "good" price.

07 cars have a LOT of trouble with the engine (it's the first year with N54), so don't get yourself into possible issues down the road.

I have 112,000 miles on my '07 (10/06 build date), and I have had no trouble with my engine, or transmission.

It's an optional feature add-on or comes with certain packages. I've only seen a couple AT 335i's that didn't have them when I was car shopping.

I have a 2007 model 335i with no problems. Keep up with the maintenance and check-ups to keep the car healthy.

guys I am not saying if you have a 2007, then you are screwed. Yeah I also know a guy locally with a 07 E90 with 140K on the clock, and he is on original water pump, fuel pump and turbo. But if you browse through this forum, you will find out PLENTY of 07 and early 08 N54 with tons with issues.
BMW improves the bugs in the N54 overtime so why get a 07 when you have plenty of choices for something newer, and this is just my suggestions to OP. Buy smart and don't just look for cheap prices.

Have the dealer look at it the usually suspects in why people complain about theses cars .
I mean there are plenty of things that can go wrong that you can't spot, but i'd make sure the Water Pump has been done for sure.

my exact thought process. If you cant afford a BMW with less miles... maybe BMW isn't for you at this point. Later down the road, sure. But right now maintenance is gonna get you...

Your a noob. It's the SAME damn car minus the speed and the obvious infamous "worst engine of the year" award with the 335i's. Im not bashing on the 335i im merely saying that if hes looking at one with 120k on the clock you can get an e90 with under 100k for under 10k.
