Miro is not so good wheel brand

I bought a new Miro CSL 9.5" wheel this week to replace the curbed passenger rear wheel I did up last summer. The finish is slightly lighter than my current set of hypersilver. Cheap quality wheels.

I have to take it to a place to try and match the finish of my other 3. I'm looking at Ye Old Wheel Shop to do the work. Hopefully they can get a good match. Otherwise I'm rolling a lighter wheel (and not in a good way). So this cheap wheel is getting more expensive.

sorry to hear that. I know from experience if you go cheap, you pay 2x - in the end you pay the same but you have lower quality. However, i thought Miro was one of the better companies. Oh well. That really sucks if you ask me.

were your original set Miros too? if so, then not having a consistent finish for the same exact model does suck.

I have a set of Miros that have been perfect so far, regardless of how many potholes I hit

I had a set of Miro CSL reps when I had my 335i and the Miro's are probably the cheapest of the CSL reps. VMR and Alufelgen definitely make superior ones. The finish on the Miro's is dirt cheap and they would nick and almost peel just from everyday driving.

Miro wheels

My original set are Miro CSL's. I like the wheels. I will say the finish is not that good. You have to wash them with soap only to keep them looking new.

I bought the exact same wheel and the vendor told me they can't guarantee the color will be the same. "They change paint suppliers, etc." I think that is a bogus excuse, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Bottom line is I didn't want to get an expensive set of forged wheels living in DC and bend them on the streets or have them stolen so I went for a less expensive wheel.

I also thought by being an off the shelf product, I would be able to buy more if I needed them. The vendor said it's best to buy a set of four. ha
