Agreed.

Only been able to push mine in the last week or so.

Not until you get it above 5k that you realise what its all about.

Driving turbo's makes you lazy.

I came from a 540 so the action has moved from 3-5k to 4-6k but I love it. My 330 E90 Msport auto runs like a Swiss watch. (Well, like a Swiss watch that has had its ignition coils and high-pressure fuel pump replaced.)

Just got a 130i Sport for the wife to keep the 330i company.

Must say its a lot more vocal & feels more responsive. I guess that's what removing 2-300 kg feels like.

I'm thinking of ditching my 320D for a E92 330i Auto. How's the car in terms of reliability? Any known problems etc? One thing i'm concerned about is that i may miss the torque but hey the 320D is the only BMW I've driven so i have no idea what to expect.

1 rear wheel sensor £180
1 ignition coil £200
nox sensor total with ecu update £1100
possible dct pump looming £2000
probably the other wheel sensor?
also slight leak on gearbox estimate £1500

all this on a car that had done 8000 miles when bought and was like brand new and total mileage 38,000

by contrast my previous 335d at 48000 same year only had the red boost pipe replaced under warranty.
