Update:
Met with a forum member today as we planned on fitting in my Dension 500, but since the weather was terrible, it was not possible. He ended up coding my car so when I do install the hardware, I'm ready to go... an effortless trouble free 'service' so thank you Afsar! It was a pleasure to meet and I have to say what you have done to your 5er is phenomenal. The retrofit, the sound system and your coding knowledge is second to none. I love your M5 seats, the CIC retrofit most of all, how almost everything inside the car is customised. Best of all, the torque your remap has given the car is absolutely phenomenal! Unbelievable!!!!! I always thought my 335D has enough power, why want more when there's already so much... but in reality..............................I need a remap!!!! Nice to meet and hopefully we'll meet soon Next thing on my list is perf diffuser, but should I stick with M3 lip spoiler or perf one? |

Wise words! That's what I thought when I bought mine but when extra is available at such a bargain price it'd be crazy not to!

Little update: Bought an OEM performance diffuser courtesy off a forum member since I was in the market for one anyways. it's the only pic I have right now... next time you see it will be on the car - now I'm just struggling to think of whether to go all silver and be a bit 'out there' OR be with the crowd and go silver/black combo..
Check Audio Thread for more pics... almost there but tuning and tweaking still needs doing and I MAY end up going for a different finish with the 'spare' dosh I've left over once the whole car's done. |

It wasn't exactly advertised let's put it that way but came to a mutual decision/agreement I did ask you for your std one a week back but since I didn't hear I presumed you've decided to keep it. Keen to hear your Audio I know how good it must sound in the HO box speficially designed for it - must be the nuts. Have to say, Sumil's bass is fecking crazy! Ain't sat in something like that sinxe max power days. I won't get mine that loud I know it but hopefully I'll be there with good overall SQ - I spent alot on those Morels LOL!!! Gonna spend some time trying to learn how to tweak the MS8! |

How much weight do you think you have added to your cars with the installs? are you going to paint the diffuser body colour? |

About 100 kilos altogether in my case.
Sumil. I need to hear your setup mate. You going to make the meet end of April? 28th? You know it makes sense.

Ouch THAT'S SOME WEIGHT!!!!
I don't think I could drive around knowing I have added a fat person in weight!!! Just kills the reason I bought a 335i for. I will have to deal with what I've got I guess |

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, got the call from Dips at The Custom Cars and he's called the car in! It's been a painful 3 months just waiting and waiting (mainly for the weather to clear up) but we're almost there!! Taking the car down tomorrow and handing over the keys... Dead excited!
I did have Wrap in mind as some of you on here may have known however, I couldn't resist fresh paint from Dips so decided to run with that. Few alterations in the previous plan so here's a concise list - next time I / You see the beaut, she'll be ready for the shows, bros and ho*s! To be done: - M Sport Side Skirts - M Sport Rear Bumper - Performance Diffuser - Front Aero Lip (with a custom touch) - One off Engine Cover Paint (watch this space for my choice of colour ) - Re-paint calipers and hubs with hammerite - Wheels and Tyres thrown on - Audio completely sorted out - align carpeting, calibrate the MS-8 and let that JL 12w7 shake the car! - Fully Detailed - CYBA Tips welded - CYBA Airscoops repainted to Custom Engine Cover Paint - Front Bonnet Respray 1 or two other things which I'll keep close to my chest for now, but could make or break the look! It'll also cost a fair bit and I'm thinking whether or not to do it now since I'm having the respray (in saving on labour next year) Anyways, stay tuned, next pics will be of the transformation S. |

Me too Steve!!
I hope so too - I have full confidence in Dips... he treats his customers' car as if they're his own - so I'm very excited! Quote:
Not the whole car but the following: Front bonnet, front wings to blend in, front bumper (no. plate holes filled - EURO STYLE), front aero lip, side skirts, rear m sport bumper and rear perfo diffuser. Then a full detail shortly after that to basically bring it all together! Full detail will include (but not limited to) full paint correction, inside cleanse, under the hood cleanse/degreased and all the usual spots. |
