I installed meth last year on my car that had 50,000 miles so I don't think meth has helped at all unfortunately.

I did mine maybe 2-3 weeks ago at a shop in Vallejo as well.
Revolution Automotive & Collision. A very clean shop and new equipment. I talked with the guys there and they opened shop there in the past year iirc. I had about 43k miles on mine. I probably didn't *need* to do a cleaning but did it anyway and I have peace of mind that I don't need to do it later. They were nice guys and they drove me to / from the bart station since I forgot to bring my work/laptop with me (I was originally going to wait in their shop). If you have questions or want pics or more details, just PM me~

Got an appt at Revolution in Vallejo next week. Hope it won't be a waste at 48k miles. When I pulled my fmic last Summer, it barely had any oil in it compared to when I pulled the oe fmic 3 yrs ago.

Valve Walnut blasting is highly recommended for our cars with over 40-45k miles. Its truly a night and day difference. Over on the east coast we have a shop (AKMotorWerk) that set up a group buy for $320. Its definitely a steal compared to the $700+ dealer prices

Call them and ask if they're still offering their GB pricing. I'll pm you. Not supposed to discuss in this thread.

That's pretty good at for a dealer but more than I'm paying.
Getting this done tomorrow. Hopefully they're willing to take before and after pics.
