Canbus HID Angel Eye kit (+Spare bulbs)
Have for a sale a hid kit
-2 canbus ballasts with canceller built in -2 h11 4300k bulbs (white bulbs) (they fit h8) - 2 h8 6k bulbs (slight blue (but come out white in the rings) - 2 bmw cancellers (capacitor built in) - 2 relays with 2 fuses/holders -original box with ballast holders/sticky pads etc i bought this kit paid about 100quid for it just to see what they look like. they are very bright but i dont like them as much as i thought i would. it has a 12 month warranty on the ballasts (i bought them about a week ago) they work fine on my 56 335i e92 , i dont get an error light however you cant dim the DRL lights with the relay kit installed, without the relay kit you can dim the lights but may have codes etc. i want 75pounds you can pm for a contact number im located near leeds west yorkshire. i may be able to post. |

Does the outer ring appear as bright as the inner with the HID's, as I know with LED bulbs they don't

Nah thats got nothing to do with the lighting its the way the halo rings are designed. More light will always fill the inner ring. It does look good i saw reflections in a few mirrors but its not for (had to try it tho)
Hids are the brightest though over leds etc. |

Pre lci halos are designed to give more light on the inner ring. Hids will provide maximum light...visible easily over leds.
Daytime you cant miss em...night time they look great..abit bright but stand out nicely. its the same effect as leds..except times 5. Made my mate drive my car towads me at night they looked gggood. |

too bright for MY taste...i was gonna pay 60-70quid for some led angels, i got the guy to put them in to see what they look like and i wasnt that impressed so opted for the hid kit and thought why not just go for hids since thier brighter.......plus it wont stop raining and i just cannot be asked/nor do i have the time to fit the whole kit in neatly....
i dont like white angel eyes but like i said i had the urge to 'do a mod' lol. id happily fit them in properly/neatly given i get time/weather being decent etc etc. inner ring will be as bright as your low beam xenons....outer ring will be not as bright (thats just the way they are designed) Last edited by eg9_dc2; 12-28-2012 at 01:16 PM.. |
