Some idiot(s) decided to egg my e90 not one or twice...but 4 times yesterday evening.

Racist m$*($Y%(*$%ers.

If I ever see anyone doing anything remotely close to egging my car, I will take a baseball bat to their body. THis is why we should be aloud to carry weapons, at least a taser. People really do get jealous, esp when colour is involved.

I hope I find the racist jack@sses who did this, this isn't the first time. There are 4 e90's on my street, but I get hit each time - I wonder why! THeoretically people are ok wth equality here, but in reality they want you beneath them -- I don't put up with that Bull. Next time, they're putting up with a baseball bat.

Anyways, there are 3 points of damage. Two on my rear quarter panel, with the moon-crater look. One on the roof, also with the moon crater look - basically it feels like I can see the primer, the clear and the paint are gone. I tried to use menzerna (the one below super intensive polish) to buff it out...but the egg had been on for 24 hours and baked in the sun. THis hasn't yielded any results, I can feel the indentations at the point of impact.

So I have three spots of damage and I want my baby to look new again. I won't get the door repainted because thats crazy, what are my options? Insurance deductible is so high it would be pointless.

edit: My bad, I didn't tell you the rest of the story -- have had these incidents before, on the last old car racist symbols and writing and the cops believe it was race motivated as we constantly get targeted. Its not purely racial, its racial + jealousy. People can't stand BMW + Porsche in the garage with a brand new custom home in a conservative (not politcal, but culture wise) neighborhood and coloured folks owning that. But I ain't giving up no freedom for no one.

Now I feel bad b/c my car is cowering at the back of the driveway -- domestic terrorism!

Didn't know egging someone's property was a racist hate crime. Maybe you're the racist one, jumping to conclusions like that unless there's some other part of the story you're not telling.

THS IS BY NO MEANS MEANT RACIALLY but are you talking racist as you being black them being white or vise versa or white/black/asian/hispanic. just trying to see why you think race was involved? as for insurance just go to a shop have it quoted and see what it comes out to be to decide if you want to make a claim. This would most likely fall under comprehensive coverage which is usually the cheapest deductable

You can get the paint looking new again with a buffer and a cutting pad. It's almost impossible to do by hand. As far as the chips and dents, that's another story.

I had someone stand on my hood when I parked infront of a bar the other week. 6 deep dents in my hood. It happens, get it fixed, and move on.

Take your car to a good paintless dent repair or body shop and get a quote. Eggs will usually eat into the paint and it will be hard to get out on your dark colored car. PDR will fix the dent at minimal cost.

My RX-8 was egged in high school and the back window was paintballed to the point of shattering. $1,000 to replace and 3 years later found out it was this guy that was pissed I was dating his ex (at the time). I figured it was pointless to retaliate 3 years later. Vandalism

I had that happen twice when I had my EVO IX MR. First time I was lucky enough to catch the egg fresh and cleaned it off. Second time I saw the guy doing it. Long story short I follow him into a dark field. I got egg on my car he got two broken side mirrors and I smash his exhaust. Then two months later I moved to a nicer neighborhood. No problems now.

I like how some people here are smacking the OP for playing the race card when they have no clue as to what the OP has experienced.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about your egging, mate. Try catching these guys next time, but please resist the temptation to confront them (could be deadly). Just capture proof and report them to the authorities --or get a lawyer if they happen to possess assets.

Yea there is more to the story. Suffice to say, the last time the cops said it was racial too...and with the last car, they left racially motivated symbols and writing in permanent ink among other things


There are 4 other e90s...one that looks almost exactly like mine on the street, no other cars egged...my place targeted specifically again. There is only one thing that gives.

I'm not some left-wing nut to jump to racism, I don't cry that...that sometimes it just is. Hence why carrying guns should be aloud.

OF course a random egging wouldn't be racist. But a series of events in a very very upscale neighbourhood (or just upscale by US standards) -- I ain't in Compton thats for sure. Its just ridiculous.

That is EXACTLY WHAT the damage looks like x 3 (fourth attempt didn't cause damage).

I'll park deep in the driveway, our garage is behind the house but the Porsche parks there and only enough room for it as there are other things in it...and that is going to be too obvious a target if I leave that out.

This started when we added a Porsche to the garage recently. Before that it had been 2-3 years since the last incident with racist symbols, language marked on an old car. The BMW was the accessible car because I was foolish enough not to park it deep, it parked it at the end of the garage near the street.
