Just Another E90 328i // Updated July 11th
I bought the car stock from the dealership right off a lease and it had about 50,000 miles on the odometer. It wasn't what I wanted originally, (was looking more JDM) but after state taxes were added, it was still cheaper than most of the other cars I looked at, so I said fuck it and went for it. It's been in one accident so far (nailed a deer doing about 50MPH). Warranty is expired so if you see me bitch about maintenance costs, that's why. Finally got that piece of shit off. I can't get the other wheels off though because they're torqued on too much.
Also. Anyone know of some awesome 18x10s? I want to get some good solid fitment going early next year since I'm too broke to do it now. Wanna get some goals in mind. |

I'm guessing whoever put your wheels didn't use a wrench but a high torque impact drill, go back to them and slowly have them take the bolts off and hand torque them.
Good luck bud

Dude, I had a bout of bad luck with my WRX.
Within two weeks: -Dad's girlfriend backed into my car -Got side swiped -Rock shattered windshield -Started misfiring -Almost got hit by a woman just about every day (not generalizing women btw) -One was coming the opposite way, and tried to floor it to make a turn right in front of me, and ended up flooring it directly into a wall. I started getting all paranoid and sketched out, so I immediately sold the car. And now here I am with a 335 |

@angryshortbloke you said your VANOS retaining bolt snapped off? Are you aware that there's a recall out for that problem right now on 2010 - 2012 BMWs (all models that have an inline 6). Includes E90 LCI - a warranty issue, might be able to get reimbursement from BMW.

No update really yet. It's sitting in the shop at the moment, to get an oil change, a possible ignition coil change, and a possible brake change.
Looking at getting the 1M bumper from LTMW when I get back stateside. Gonna be getting new wheels and tires too, possible Avante Garde wheels, I haven't decided. Got a custom made rear diffuser coming in soon, and Im probably gonna order a roof spoiler when I get paid. |

nice story and seems like even though you are having some issues, still enjoying the car. it does look kinda funny with 16s and that low.

9.5 seems ballsy. Ive seen 9s up front with 245s i believe without issue. 9.5 will require some stretched tires i believe. I like how the LCI looks low in all stock form though (minus that spoiler, no offense, looks terrible)!
