The first batch of intercoolers have been built and are on their way to us for the remaining 2 manufacturing processes. The original ship date was scheduled for the end of this month and I still believe we will be able to ship the first batch by that date. We also expect to be able to ship the 2nd batch on schedule as well.

Thanks.
Chris.

The first batch of intercoolers are shipping out today. Those of you that got their orders in for the first run will be receiving tracking numbers later today. Those that got their orders in for the second run will be receiving your tracking numbers in a month from now. We ordered 50 intercoolers for the second run and those are quickly selling out. If you want to get your order in for our next shipment, please email david@horsepowerfreaks.com or call him directly at 503-256-5600 x103.

Take care,
Chris.

The rapid prototype process is completed, and we will be starting production on these soon. We're looking at around 2-3 months.

How about changing the charge pipe elbow to the IC inlet from 90 deg. to 120?

I don't know what it is about HPF parts, but it makes me want to have sex with them.

Seriously though, the HPF stuff always looks so nice and well thought out in their design.

well its possible if you really want to since there are two open ends at each side with the charge pipe and even the intercooler!!!

But yeah they make some really nice stuff, I have their intercooler!

We will be starting the second and significantly larger production run shortly after and plan to ship those to customers in early April.

We haven't datalogged the pressure drop across the core or intake air temperature drops yet. We did that extensively on our E46 M3 platform to get the best core out there. Our 335i intercooler is made using the same intercooler core and is actually a tad larger than our E46 M3 core. Over the next month I will gather that data and publish it and we will also plot out the intercooler efficiency at the different power levels.

Chris.
Is this gonna happen?

They probably never took the time to log it. Contact Penn99? He has one and would have any and all HPF info on it.
