Is the Vishnu procede system able to provide a map for that engine?

I know a couple of companies here in the UK that can map the ECU directly via a chip out job and re-write but unless you want to buy a spare ECU (4k AUD approx I think?) and ship it here and back again that doesn't really help..

Evolve, BWchiptune and Vishnu - as well as Berger Tuning: All provide tuning boxes.. Just depends on if anyone has a map for this engine?

All of the above companies only tune petrol engines. This is a diesel engine...

I have found a few places that seem to offer a chip tune for the xDrive 40d, but I don't know how reliable or legitimate they really are. For all I know, I could be buying something that costs $500 that does absolutely nothing.

A few examples of the companies that I have found are:

Another company is DT-UK who are diesel specialists.

But Evolve and BW do both at the very least.

I know BW offer a switch box too just not sure if they'll have the maps ready for your engine (might be a first for them).

Speak to Jason at BW chiptune, he's a great guy to just have a chat with and get some advice.. And then if he can't do it himself he should know someone who does.

www.bwchiptune.co.uk

Make sure you ask for Jason when you phone them..

EDIT: beaten to it by jimmy

I'll get my coat if I'm missing the mark, but DTUK do a box for the X6 4.0d - is it the same engine?

parapaul, I've actually been in contact with DTUK over the last few days and it looks like I'll be getting something from them.

Thanks all for the suggestions!!
