Headlight restoration?

What do you guys think about headlight restoration DIY kits.
Should I do this? Does it come out good or should I just buy new lenses?

Depends what's wrong with them. Cracks/chips/etc are a lot harder to correct than some oxidation.

They seem to work. I don't think you will be able to get replacement lenses for a E90. The E46 lens was replaceable.

Ya. Its primarily my fog lights. The lenses are a bit. Foggy, ironically.
As for my headlights. I just feel like they could be a bit more clear and didnt know if those kits work.
No chips or cracks or anything. Perfect condition besides not being as clear as id like.
