I heard from multiple people that cars and coffee was shut down due to complaints from other surrounding businesses.

I was actually going to suggest doing this until I heard about the cancelings.

Interesting, you do have to wonder, though...how do you cancel it? It was essentially just a bunch of people parking and getting coffee...not exactly a private gathering. If I hit Katies for coffee in the am I will report back.

Well anyone up for our cars and some coffee in the am?

That's weird. I was there last week, and there were plenty of people. I will be there again this week (before heading over to the dyno day).

Their website is still up and saying they are on for Saturday:

http://katiescarsandcoffee.com/

The neighboring businesses do seem to be annoyed with it for some reason. I don't know why, because everyone leaves before the other businesses even open.

Definitely not true. I'm here now & C&C is alive & well. Perhaps they're trying to curb attendance by starting rumors of cancellation

Anybody else present? I'm the white 335d.

Thanks again for setting everything up, Brian! It was definitely nice to meet all of the friendly & knowledgeable bmw locals. How did everyone's day turnout? I wouldn't mind knowing what angel wound up putting down with that turbo.

I came over for an hour but the wait was too long and I couldn't stay. Still, would be interested in the future - perhaps I could show up early next time ;-)

Not a problem it was my pleasure. I enjoyed meeting everyone! Sorry about the wait, just sort of the nature of an event like this.
