Big Brake Kit with current OEM sensors?

How does the BBK work with current sensors for pads and fluid?

I am just hoping I can NOT go around with these warnings going off like Christmas lights!

Thanks,

the brake sensor can just be ziptied somewhere safe and left there. it works by completing a circuit when the sensor touches the rotor from the brake pad not holding it away. not letting it touch = not getting the light

you can either code it out and unplug it. Or you can order brake pad sensors specifically for your BBK kit (supposedly there's aftermarket applications for different BBKs, u just have to google). From what i've seen though, MOST brake sensors have the same connection point (like a universal fitting) to the car, but different clips for attaching to the caliper...

Damn.
That's what I hope I didn't have to do.
I really don't want to unplug and code it, but I was hoping it was just a plug and play lol.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I just wrapped it up in the fenderwell and ziptied it out of the way. Those sensors are useless anyway.

I do have iDrive, but if you zip tie the sensors out of the way, the circuit is never broken when the pads get low (this is how the sensors work) so no errors are ever tripped.
