Super nice guy and does great work. walked me through everything he did showed me all the old parts and what shape they were in etc... He is very fair on his pricing. I would like to get more feedback on Mike Lakeside. Is this the shop at Kennedy and Lawrence area in Scarborough, Ontario? How is his efficiency and price?
I am also interested to know more about Darren and his shop. Thanks in advance! |

For routine type of maintenance and fair pricing, Darren is the guy to go to. Very friendly. The only downside of thing is the garage he leased out is like a dump. Other than that, you can watch him while he is working on your car.
He does not have any fancy diagnostic machines like the dealers, nor does he have any modern equipments, such as wheel alignment or tire changer. No complaints every time I go there for routine maintenance. |

I went to Matt at BM Wizard for a brake fluid, power steering fluid and coolant flush the other day and he is knowledgeable and honest. The rate was good too! He's got a small shop but only works on BMWs. I recommend him for any service related to BMWs. Only thing he doesn't do is computerized alignments.

I just went to Leslie yesterday (the guy who does walnut blasts)
Him and his employee are great guys to deal with. I went int I get my valve cover gasket replaced, but ended up my valve cover was cracked. Did a great job, labor charge stayed the same, and they got me the cover right away to continue with the work. $300 for valve cover gasket. Can't complain I'm gonna be back for the walnut blast, and any other work I need done! |

I went to see Darren at DC Motorwerx last week. I went to get an oil and break pads change. For the oil change he gave me a choice of Motul or Liqui Moly.
For the break pads, after he looked at the car he recommended not to change the break pads to get the max use out of the current ones and save money. He did bring to my attention about changing the cabin and engine filters showing me the old parts and its condition. Super nice guy, knowledgeable and honest recommendations. Would go see him again. |

Saw Darren @ DC Motorwerx about 2 weeks ago. My 335i was having rough starts, hesitation and sputtering on acceleration (light or heavy), and random stalling.
Took my car to Serpa BMW back in June for the same issue, they assured me that it was a faulty coil - so I gave them the OK to replace all 6. Long story short, picked up the car and it was doing the same thing. Darren was able to replicate and diagnose the problem and determine it was a faulty HPFP. He was very friendly and kept me in the loop the entire time. I will definitely be returning in the future. |

Where is Paradigm Performance (Leslie Du) located? The address in his website is 7761 Woodbine Avenue, Markham. I checked the google map and it was a Petro Canada Gas Station???

It's one of those older service stations that have garages attached to them. Check street view, you'll understand.

Couple of nice guys that used to work at Speedstar then opened their own shop. They use Motul and their oil changes are a really really good price. 152 Bullock Dr #5 Markham, ON L3P 1R1 Phone: 905-471-6363 |
