Pirelli PZero Nero M+S early report
Saturday I installed a set of 235/265 Pirelli PZero Nero M+S on my E92 335i with SP rims.
I'm happy to report my initial impressions: similar turn-in response, much better comfort, no more constant jiggling, no more skittering and bouncing over small imperfections (especially those mid-corner ones were eye-openers, now completely banished), no more pothole cringe factor, better wet traction and less DSC intervention. I still have a balancing issue that I'll take up with the shop probably tomorrow, but other than that I'm very happy with my choice. These are not expensive tires, they're all season (meaning you can get home in a blizzard), have better wet grip (we'll see about dry) and are much better suited to the car's character than the runflats. As miles accumulate, I'll add more to my report. |
