I'm currently looking Into either a custom Trans from a local shop or just going with Level 10. It seems our 6AT single turbo shift issues are oil pressure related to begin with but I really want to find a Trans that can handle the power that all the upgraded turbos are putting out (RB, ST VFF700, future Vargas) there is a great local shop that has been working with ZF Trans for 30plus years I will post what I find soon.
Has anyone used IPT I can't find a single member. |

sorry to hear man. search about level 10. two people had in their upgraded Turbo cars. one was LM and the other is Enrita. I've heard some not so good reviews of level 10 with their work on someone's Audi Tranny. But Enrita has been running his with no problem as I recall.

We need an 6AT can handle +700 lb-ft, look at GTR r53 many companies offers transmission upgrades up to +1000 lb-ft..
Can we make a request for any transmission company to make it possible I want to upgrade the stock turbos, but the 6AT restrict me im sure they can make it happen, 700lb-ft or more 6AT I think level10 is a joke |

I've asked a couple reputable companies that do tranny upgrades for other platforms and they won't work on this one. Not sure why, they didn't say. Good thing is you can find used AT trannies for very cheap. Have you decided what you were going to do?

yep, just ordered a used AT tranny this morning, gonna take my current Valve body and TQ converter send them to level 10 for Upgrades, and install the upgraded valve body and TQ converter in the used transmission i ordered. I know i should maybe get the gears/overhaul kit, but I'm no way in hell in the budget for that. so hopefully a month of downtime for me + i need a new abs pump

Ill PM the price i paid and the one i have i think the Tq converters fried along with the oil pump and Clutches are History. i would most likely be doing the rebuild and found it cheaper to get another one. |

not quite our transmission, and halfway around the world but they do look like legitimate upgrades.

Great house song in the first video haha
Might be cheaper to just buy a used one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E82-E88-...722ed3&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-10-11-BMW...509f0c&vxp=mtr Last edited by shaginwagon13; 01-18-2013 at 11:45 PM.. |
