I'm not sure what you mean by this but if you mean that all the shops have to do is put in the paint code then your wrong. If you were to take a tiag hood from one car and put it on another you will see a difference in either metallic or by shade.

The shops that just go by paint code are the shops that have white bumpers coming out offwhite when you compare it to the rest of the car.
