Blown rear types - Eibach Springs the issue?

Hi,

I blew my rear Tyre today while driving - Tyre pressure sensor came on and about 30seconds later my rear Tyre blew - lucky I wasn’t gunning it...

Guy at the Tyre shop said my camber angle was too aggressive @ 2degrees..suggested I get it adjusted to around 1degree. He deduced this by looking at the other rear Tyre which had “extreme” Tyre wear on the inside edge.

Is this normal for BMW? I called BMW and they said that all rear wheel drive cars have aggressive camber...I got 15ks from the tyres...is that normal?

I read a few posts - and ppl saying its a Tyre pressure issue not camber...thought?

The guy you spoke with is a dope.

Toe kills tires, not camber.

What are your current alignment settings? Get those right and you won't have any more issues.

BMW's eat rear tires, especially the inside tread....the torquier the engine, the faster. The more negative camber, the faster.

Alignment to factory soecs wont help, the factory specs INTENTIONALLY align for grip at the expense of tire wear

Depending on your model and drivong style, 15k from rears may be kinda bad....or a dream come true.

M3's and 335d's spemd more money on tires than fuel

Half of what you posted is true only because peeps with staggered fitments can't/won't rotate their tires.

The other half of what you posted is complete rubbish.
