Whatever you say. My dealer called 30 minutes ago. Pricing in hand, willing to take a deposit. I don't car what DCSNet says as far as I'm concerned - if he would fax me the price list I bet you wouldn't believe me either. Frankly, I don't want a 335coupe. I want the sedan or the M sedan. Carry on.

Call Nalley BMW in Decatur, Georgia and speak to Greg. There. Have at it. I don't want auto either. He gave me a price of a what he thought would be the typically optioned car. I substract 2100 from the price and there's my car. Would you like the phone number? (404) 292-1400. Call away.

Why is everyone fascinated with 'base price'. Does ANYONE drive these things with leatherette?

Well, if he somehow does have the prices, then:
$46,595 minus

$475 Metallic Paint
$1600 Sprt Package
$2200 Premium
$675 Destination
$1275 Auto

= $40,370 base ?

(Added the Step...thanks JT)

Sport/Premium is the only way to go IMO. That said, the car is basically 45.2k with a manual.
45.2k for a manual 335 with Premium Package (2,200), Sport Package (1600), and Metallic Paint (475). The price in quotes are from the 330i. We all know the ZSP will be cheaper due to the integrated sport suspension. So if it is 45.2k with all of these options, let's back it out and find the base. 45.2k - 4,275 in options is 40,925. That is more like what people estimated with base. Don't come and post bullshit saying you knew it was going to be in the Mid 40s. No one cares how you built the car. We want to know base. 40,9 base is not Mid 40s as you claimed to say.

Think about what you just posted. We are waiting for official prices not what GREG thinks.

Straz, I don't care how you do or don't option the car either. Why is everyon so hung up on 'base price'. Why does base price matter? Does anyone here NOT get the sport and/or premium packages? That makes no sense to me but then again, thats why they have chocolate and vanilla. Call bullshit all you want. It matters not. I'd never own a 'base price' car. Never have, never will. Period. I don't care if the base was 37 or 38 or whatever. Market trends put the pricing where it is.

understand, but base price is essential to know because we have a good feeling on what the option prices will be; it is the base that remains the mystery...

The irony is thus, I don't even fcuking care about the coupe or even the sedan. (I want the M) I just think its funny everyone gets there pants in a wad about 'confirmed' or not confirmed etc. I don't give deposits for speculation pricing, never have, never will. I'm trying to get the pricing faxed so everyone can chill. sheeesh.

Rich>>> glad you like it. Not to my taste FWIW. If you're happy, thats all that really matters.

Its not like I ordered a base car but the base price is the knowledge we all want. We dont want it configured with sport and premium from the getgo. All put aside I ordered my car with Premium, Sport, Comfort Access, Nav, PDC, Heated Seats, 6 speed...

So once again, WHY does base price mean a damn thing? I gave you the price based upon the options explained to me. Then I got dogpiled. This car isn't going to be cheap and it most certainly will be mid 40s once you put 'some' options on it. So why does everyone want to thump their chest about 40/40.3/41.2k etc base pricing? To be 'right'? Wow.

Garage List
2006 BMW 330xi  [0.00]
I said it would be $50,000 on the street a loooong time ago.

Too much money for me.

I'm glad I got the 330xi ($43,660 on the street).
