TPMS / DSC / ABS Lights = Wheel Bearing? Help!
I had the trifecta of lights come on last weekend and took it into the BMW dealership, had them run the diagnostic and these are the codes they have pulled:
00024 – DBC malfunction ! - DBC Malfunction, braking not supported by Dynamic Brake Control during emergency braking. 00042 – Control systems ! - Control systems Braking and dynamic-response systems malfunctioned. The lights do not come on right away when I start the car but generally come on within the first couple of minutes. The dealership has diagnosed it as the right rear wheel bearing and quoted me 617 + taxes (200 in parts and 4 hours in labor) . I have my doubts whether it really is the wheel bearing since there are no other symptoms (such as a noise) I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before? I am thinking I try cleaning the wheel sensors in the back since that may be causing the problem as well and take it in for the bearing if that doesn't work.

My bro had somethin similar but his had DBC, DSC, and Start OFF Assist malfunction. this was after he had a bent front control arm replaced and had to realign. the dealer realigned and erased all codes. I would suggest going to other dealers and see what they say, maybe even some Bimmer aftermarket shops to see what they see.

Before you take it to a dealer take your wheel off and clean the abs sensor. Then clear the codes. You should be fine. Start with the simple shit first lol
