Just wondering. I've seen some people (one person) with it in their sig. Just seeing if we could get a review.

I got mine on Monday, just as I was headed out of town for the rest of the month. It's just sitting in my garage until I get a chance to install it next month. Sorry I can't provide any reviews any time soon.

Though I am also waiting to see if anyone else got theirs yet and provide an independent review.

Mine are at the shop just need to take the car in to get the headers installed. Was waiting for the Depo Angel Eye headlights to come to the house first so I can have those installed also.

I'm sorry, but for me, if they don't make HP then there's no use for them.

Would never buy anything from him. 3/16 was the original "ship" date. It's only 4 months later

I remember way back last November or December when he was pushing the deadline for GB money. I thought about it and chose not to. If I had then Id be more than pissed off by now. Insane how people on here can drop coin like that and have faith in someone theyve never met who has barely delivered on a promise.

The one thing stopping me from giving them my $1000, is the complete and total lack of the slightest scrap of proof from non-mmw affiliated people (guy with mmw stickers on car clearly has no association...... ) actually having these, final units being quality, or solid hp gains (or noise at least lol) - as soon as this happens they get my money

I mean, shit, mmw themselves haven't released crap! A couple of hours with a before and after dyno printout alone could net them 10's of sales!

First thing i'd do after getting them would be pics pics pics, install pics pics pics then a dyno asap to show everyone.. Proba a video too lol
I mean, jeez.

Well three people in here say they have them. We'll see in a week I guess? I wouldn't hold my breath for dynos, but you would think the people buying them would want to know the gains so who knows.

that's my plan! Best believe i'll do some work on getting this review out there. Mine being exclusive as a "Block-Back Straight Pipe Exhaust" <-- i'm excited!

Best believe, i've made my point across to Gavin that i'm upset about the service thus far... via public posts on here and personal email... i think there's some misconception about when you take someones' money, you owe them a product -within a timely manner- and if not that, then FREQUENT updates, answering EACH and EVERY email about questions, concerns, complaints... it's simply GOOD BUSINESS.

As for the "original ship date" i remember when he was pushing for the group buy back in June/July 2011 and for everyone to expect a pre-christmas delivery... obviously that never happened and we're just now getting a few shipments after 1.5years after dropping a decent about of money on them.

I just hope he comes through with the WHOLE deal he promised me (i.e. O2 Sim included)... good thing i saved all the emails and PMs! ^__^

Luckily you should be legally entitled to. Refund if it all goes pear shaped. He seems to like a fairly low profile, but theres enough stuff by him out there... And he has delivered stuff like the csv2 before..

Straight pipes hey? Aiming to set off car alarms? Mine if it all eventuates will have no secondaries, 2.75" piping a resonator and a muffler, i'm not a huge fan of the rasp in straight pipes

the objective isn't to set off car alarms necessarily, but just to get a baseline of where the horsepower sits with zero restriction on the exhaust and then play around with different types of mufflers to modify the horsepower output. Besides that, i'm pretty sure it's gonna sound bad ass anyway lol

as for the CSV2, that's typically a core change (you send in your muffler and he modifies it) and he also released a carbon fiber lip... IMO, the lip is as basic as it gets so it wouldn't take much effort to make it in your own garage. The headers are not something you make in your common garage... usually requires precision cutting from CNC machines or something along those lines, mandrel bender, and precious tig welding... then to add on, the ceramic coating which probably has to go to ANOTHER shop to get done... so from the start, just one set of headers is at least a 3 month process by themselves for R&D and once that's been established as a "successful" product, you can start the bigger production process... So with all this said, he shouldn't have even considered making shipping promises until at least 6 months after the GB date. The PROFESSIONAL way of doing it would be to sponsor your OWN set of headers, have the process, measurements, and fitment all tested and THEN offer up a group buy...

I just hope it all works out - supersprint headers cost near 3x as much (i wonder if ss realises they'd make a stupid amount of money overnight if they just made their kit 1-1.5k... Bad business when.. If mmw's product turns out to be the real deal, and can e produced in a decent time frame, only an idiot would go ss.)

interesting that the three who got them have low(er) post count, and the one with 1500+ posts hasn't heard anything

conspiracy theories ftw

i don't suspect a conspiracy... just to tend to your point, the members with low post count seem legit as they were members before the Group Buy was initiated... some people just don't log on as often or if not that, then only make posts that matter (not just to gossip)...
