Help! My Car is on a ship but I cant figure out what one
So on Friday my status changed from at port awaitng a vessel to in transit. I have been checking the WWL shipping site to see if my VIN shows up on there but still have gotten nothing. I contacted my CA and he had a little information but not much. He told me that my car's ETA to South Carolina was 4/24. Any suggestions on how I can figure out what ship my car is on. I have tried my VIN on both ship tracking websites suggested on here and nothing has come up.

you must be on some mystery boat - maybe its another carrier? I thought only WWL was used for east coast and I only see too upcoming boats for SC
Courage 4/27 and Integrity 5/3. It seems like its on its way, i wouldnt worry too much. |

First off your CA is lame. The dealer can access a daily vehicle status inquiry online for all of their orders. If indeed your car have been shipped, that inquiry will provide the port of exit, vessel name, carrier name, bill of lading, departure date and ETA to Charleston. The CA is either too busy to bother with your questions, is stupid or both.
Check with the 2wglobal.com schedule by ports plug in Bremerhaven and Charleston: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...countryList.do Which right now indicates no W&W ship is due in Charleston on 4/24: BREMERHAVEN 20/03/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 10/04/2008 INDEPENDENCE BREMERHAVEN 27/03/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 14/04/2008 ** PATRIOT BREMERHAVEN 11/04/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 27/04/2008 ** COURAGE BREMERHAVEN 15/04/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 03/05/2008 INTEGRITY So maybe your CA is a liar or your car is on a different carrier which does happen. Call your CA and ask for him to print out the most recent vehicle inquiry status and fax it to you. That will have the answers to your questions. Good luck, Ordered 335xi (E90), 6MT, Arctic Metallic/Black, ZPP, ZSP, ZCW, CA, PDC, i-Pod |

Add me to the mystery boat list as well. Good news is that the boat's eta is in 10 days.
--Edit-- I just did some research on Kouloubj's information and got this. http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=257349000 It's not really updated... |

maybe this is the answer - did you order a Sedan?? From what I understand, 3 series Sedans can also be produced in South Africa. Perhaps we are looking in the wrong place?

It will be going into Charleston. Look at this link:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?p=106353 Here's the port of Charleston vessel schedule. It is not showing, though. You could call the number listed and ask. http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp |

I emailed my CA and within an hour, he called me back giving me all the details! My ride just set out from Bremerhaven last Thursday onboard Courge en route to NYC on 4/22! Can't wait!

I checked the Charleston schedule on DBH http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L=0 and it doesn't show Pamplona coming in, either. I am not sure if it is going to Charleston. I would call the Charleston help desk listed on their vessel schedule page and ask them, just to be sure.

Just an FYI, guys. Seems like many are having problems finding their cars. My dad's 750iL is en route but, unlike with my car, I can't find it to save my life. From what I understand, the vessel his car is on is being diverted to Savannah due to port traffic in Charleston. If your car's on there, expect it to take about an extra week. Same thing happened to me in Feb.

Thanks for the kind words, this waiting thing is killing me. My CA estimated it should take 7-10 days after it gets to SC to get to Chicago. It looks like I will be rollin last week of April/first week in May.
