Smile Lowered and spaced the car yesterday...

Please no flaming, i know my wheels are skinny... >__<'

BEFORE:

The picture below, you can tell my 8.5" rear are too far in the wheel well...

AFTER:

20mm spacers makes it look and feel different... ^__^ i like...

I can't afford 9.5" or 10.5" rear wheels yet, that will come in time when i get a 335i next year.

Looks nice. Spacers do make a difference. Put some nicer tips on the exhaust and you're set.

I'm trading in this 325i next year for the 335... i don't want to do any further modification i can't transfer over to the new(er) model.
I have a whole list of parts picked out though of mods i'll be doing to it [over the course of ownership]

What are those tail lights called? Never seen those before. Where can you get them?

I forget...
As far as i know, they're just some 3rd party make, i don't recall a 'brand'
i bought them 2 years ago. I liked them at first, but they don't stand the test of time so i'm likely going to just get painted tail lights on my next model...

I'm sorry this is terrible.. Why not save money and buy blacklines instead? Those wheels look tremendously cheap and I'm sure you know that.

Don't like blacklines...
I won't be transferring the tail lights to the next car though, i'm growing tired of these myself but i'm too lazy to switch my OEM lights back on...

Wheels are cheap, but a 325i is not a 'performance' vehicle. I like my rims, and they're within my budget; sorry i don't get paid 50k a year to afford better ones... military salary is pretty sh***y...
Though, the rims i want are Werfen GT-03's if that clues you in on my taste of rims. (not a fan of fork-style rims like HRE's or BBS)

interesting choices....

i would have kept it stock and instead put spacers and springs and if budget allowed, upgraded to sport factory wheels which can be had on the forum for probably about what you paid for those wheels.

Taillights are terrible, wheels.. meh, yeah they are pretty bad too. Just my opinion though.

I cant stand wheels that have convex faces that try to exaggerate the lip on the wheel.. thats usually the first give away of cheap wheels( amongst things).

If your a fan of the Werfen GT-03's why not pick up a used set of SSR GT3's..?

They are pretty cheap used and if you sold your wheels and tails.. plus a little extra you could get the real deal SSR's. Just a thought.

Car looks super clean though.

^__^Aren't the SSR GT3 and Werfen GT03 the same thing? ... where would i look for a used set though?
(I could maybe get $100 for my tails on craigslist... almost not worth it, but hey, i'm not gonna keep them with the [to be] 335i)

Yeah, pretty much. They go used from 900-1500.

Here's 2 sets of GT3's for sale on M3forum.net, keep an eye on the boards over there as well as e46fanatics... they come up pretty often.

http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...hlight=SSR+GT3

This set is 475 dollars but needs refinishing and repair... even with the repair cost the wheels are pretty cheap, worth a look anyway.

At first I gasped because of the wheels and tails; they jump out as not good enough for the car (offset, style, etc).

But, the pics with the drop and spacers make it look much better! Nice improvement.

Nice lights and I'm not joking. For the all black look they are perfect. This forum is all about blacklines, mtech, Vorsteiner, KWx and OEM performance. If you don't have at list 1 of the above and you have reps, you're gonna get roasted. Do what makes you feel good , not what will please the majority of this forum.
