Coincidental I'm afraid.

The closed loop fuelling using an O2 sensor is not operating from a cold start anyhow.
O2 sensors need to heat up to opwrate nd it takes a few seconds at least.
On cold its running a fixed mixture enrichment cycle for a few seconds anyhow.

Common cause of intermittent starting is a weeping injector dropping fuel into a cylinder overnight as pressure stays in the rails of the DI engine.

I had this a couple of times and it was not 'regular' so guess sometimes the things dont drip
