Can people just drop a quick reply when they start receiving their cars in the LA, CA area. I am thinking my CA told me the 12th but it should arrive sooner than that.

I'm scheduled to take delivery of my car on Friday. It'll be ready tomorrow, but not until late in the day, so I cant make it. Not too bad for the boat docking on sunday.

whoo....!!!! I picked up my black saph, saddle 328 e93 today. Amazing how quick they got the car off the boat, through the VPC and on a truck 350miles to Roseville. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Lucky! you beat me to it. They took their sweet time PDI'ing my car, and it wont be ready until tomorrow afternoon. It'll be worth the wait though.

I purchased a 335i on this ship about 3 weeks ago. Called the trucking company today and they expect to drop off the car Friday morning.

Just out of curiosity, how many miles were on your car when you picked it up?

Any one in LA pick up thier cars yet?

My friend bought his car year ago. When he signed papaers, he told and papers shows 3 miles (he did not check). After he took his car and drove home he noticed that car had 13 miles ((((.

. It seems though that I am currently in insurance limbo because I changed companies and there is some hangup with my application

. When it rains it pours but I am sure I will be able to fix it

. At least the wait is over, just one more sleepless night.

Suddenly received call from my dealer at 12:30 PM and now car in my garage!!!!

3 miles were on it.

Tomorrow will study manual

Still waiting to pick up. I was told Friday afternoon. Now they tell me Saturday afternoon.

Did anyone request not having the front license plate installed? I hear they have to drill holes into the front bumper. Not sure what Cali law says. Thoughts?

....That being said I didn't get mines put on. And yes they would have to drill holes in the front bumper. If I get harassed enough by the PooPoo I will put it on, if not then I will leave it off. Its up to you if you want to be a law breaker, I know someone who does not have it and never gets pulled over, I have another friend who always gets pulled over. I think it all depends on whether they like your "face" or not. I have realized getting pulled over is more of subjective thing than objective thing.

Yup, I requested NOT to put it on. I reminded my CA multiple times and he took the front plate out of the car when it came off the truck so they wouldnt put it on. They do drill holes which is why its no good.

Very true... Its their probable cause. If they want to pull you over, they pick somethin like no front plate. I've never had front plates on any of my cars, and havent ever had a problem, but theres a first time for everything... and also 3m double sided tape for getting the front plate ticket signed off.

Finally picked up my car from the dealership. Came with 4 miles. Did not have the front plate mount installed....I;ll decide when my plates come from the DMV. Very happy with the car and how it drives. Still getting familar with iDrive. So far not as bad as most people make it out to be.

Oh, yea, I forgot about the mileage thing. My car had 8 miles on it when I picked it up, IIRC.
