Yellow dots on AW
How do you get rid of the annoying yellow dots on alpine white cars? I washed, I clay bar and microfiber and some go away but some are just really hard to get off. I don't want to ruin the paint. Any suggestions would be great as I have SO MANY on the rear bumper.

Those little yellow dots are bee droppings/pollen. They release excess crap into the air and it falls on our cars. Like everything else, the longer they sit, the harder to remove. I bet you noticed some were easier than others. Obviously more agitation and contact with the paint will cause scratches so the best way I deal with it is pressure washer. Pressure wash directly until they come off. The DIY car washes should be strong enough PSI.

But you got them for free. Do you know how much folks pay for nearly invisible yellow dots?

Sounds like carbon deposits to me too.

Just order it online. I don't think anyone sells it OTC except for a detailing store. Do you live near Autoobsessed in Canada? Search them online. They would definitely carry it.

White paint is subject to rail dust like every other paint colour; the only difference is that the rust stains show more readily than darker colours. Vehicle manufacturer studies have shown that failure to remove environmental contaminants, like embedded rail dust, acid rain, industrial fallout and other environmental contaminants from paint film can cause premature degradation of the paint system.
Schedule: annually, dependent upon environmental conditions and vehicle exposure but more often on light coloured paint. To optimize the reflective properties and appearance of the paint surface, it is best to regularly remove both embedded and surface contaminants and road dirt and oils. Acidic Contaminants Identification Ferrous Metal - • Light colored vehicles: Small rust burt orange dots with black in centre of stain. • Dark colored vehicles: Small white or silver dots with a "rainbow hue" around the particle. The surface will also feel rough to the touch. Industrial Fallout • The surface feels rough to the touch and may exhibit crystalline deposits. • Usually ferrous metal is present, as well as water spots. Acid Rain • Surface will exhibit irregular discoloured spotting. • Dark colored vehicles will show cloudy or grey spots where the acids have started to etch the paint. I know you said you tried a claybar already, but that is what I have always used to remove oxidation/iron deposits and it has worked like a charm

Detailer's clay will only remove above surface contamination, by 'shaving' off the top (above surface ferrous iron) what is left will reactivate when it comes into contact with water acting as a conduit to spraed the corrosion through the paint matrix
