SuperSprint Catback Exhaust

i will be installed most everything by nextweek and run stage 2+ map
planning to grap summer wheels also by march. (on winter set up now)

what would be my next step ?? exhaust? i read alot of people saying its waste of money on that to get ~15whp. do i have to get exhaust to be FBO???
i just wanted to make 400 whp and get some front bumper splitters and back bumper diffuser without changing bumbers for mtech or m3 style plus just 4in tips for exhaust.

i need some advise here.. i was going to make stage2+ this year and get some decoration for outlook but feels like i am missing something...

***08/27/2013I will be upgrading my suspension alittle by next week and now thinking to get protune or meth later in this year. My goal was hitting 400whp but now its not that important, i drive about 60 miles highway everyday, would like to keep my car long until it dies. would like to put any back up parts to keep it strong and longer. what should i concern to be upgrade or get ??

Protune for E85 and/or meth depending on how far north of 400whp you care to go. Or whatever cosmetic mods you care to continue adding, you're obviously in pretty good shape as is.

Meth injection is pretty awesome. CATs reduction, the octane boost and the cleaning benefits it has outweighs the slight risks(non-existant risks if you purchase a top notch kit and have it professionally iinstalled by an experienced company.)

just my 2 cents...

i understand many of the people have meth and its one of best mod for n54 but i just dont like how it works.. doesnt want to install all that.
so since im not going to have meth, i will get exhaust later and a protune next to hit 400 whp. its not that im going to track everyday but just a goal to hit 400 whp to me since i never into mod this deep before.

Don't know about Philly, but if you have access to e85 or race gas, it would be the next step. Better yet, a LSD would be better. Oh, and muffler delete if u are manual.

yes yes, i think i could get e85 or race gas somehow if i want to but once again.. i dont think i want meth at all or i should try someone's car whenever i get a chance. and LSD.. this is one of best mod to drive in wet or icy or in high speed with high horse power with torque if im not wrong.. but seems too pricey for what it does.. i dont know its just my opinion. i like to do upgrade and do something little by little with limited money to enjoy myself, i can not explain well in english somehow
i have steptronic which i prefer than manual in traffic due to my personality lol. i used to have couple manuals before tho Nissan 350z and VW BEETLE! haha

Aquamist is the best methanol setup you can get. The HFS3 and HFS4 kits are what most guys running Cobb use. PWM and integrated failsafes are great features to have. If you decide to go with another setup, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY AWAY FROM WW KITS!!!

Since you're in Philly you have a couple really reputable shops available to do the install. VAC and Helix are both pretty close and do great work.

I'm in that situation where I have done most of the power adders. The only thing left for me to get is exhaust. It is recommended to get mods that will give you more power (ex: Protune) before getting exhaust.

You may be giving up a couple HP with the stock exhaust, but it's not going to hurt anything. If you like the way car sounds now i wouldn't worry about it.

You need more Angry Bird decals to get over 400whp.

But on a serious note, No, you don't need an exhaust for a Protune. A protune with E85 will get you over 400whp easily.

To OP:
You dont NEED an exhaust for pro tune, but you can squeeze out a few HP with one.

I can send you to the right dyno and you can make over 400WHP, it's just a number!
