It just follows the logical number sequence already in place - who would have thought it.

The number sequence is good for 50 years.
2000-2009: 00/50; 01/51; ...; 09/59; 2010-2019: 10/60; 11/61; ...; 19/69; 2020-2029: 20/70; 21/71; ...; 29/79; 2030-2039: 30/80; 31/81; ...; 39/89; 2040-2049: 40/90; 41/91; ...; 49/99; By then we'll either all be extinct and no longer driving or they'll flip the series to AAANNAA and start over for another 50 years.

Cars will be made illegal by the Aliens who will force us to use their low budget teleportation technology.
Arriving with an ear in the wrong place or a leg missing will become a normal part of everyday travel. |

Just make sure you check for flies before travelling!!! If our government gets away with it - by 2010, we will probably have been turned into a robot nation where no-one has any freewill anymore. Oh hang on...... Maybe we are there already

Actually, by 2010, your government will probably instituted such a high tax and toll that no one but Branson can afford to drive. But they'll continue to rebuild the roads.
