Some more options here for you, shamelessly stolen from the CFL Bimmer Group - not sure how up to date everything is, but also +1 for Auto Tuning House & PSI both in Winter Park.

Marty's Auto Repair in Longwood, FL is a qualified reputable BMW shop. I needed to get my auto transmission service done on my E90 and EVERYBODY wanted $700+ dollars (Fields wanted $900, other shops were minimum $700) which was a complete joke. All you literally do is take off the transmission pan, slap in a new filter, and fill it backup. The car needs to be level to do it (lift) otherwise it's a very simple DIY job.
Marty? He laughed when I told him people were asking $700+ and said the BMW repair book (Same one Field's looks at) calls for 1.5hrs of labor and it's $165 in BMW OEM parts. $300 total out the door. Last edited by Riick; 04-14-2016 at 02:06 PM.. |
