Anyone going to the DIY day at BMW Serling

Hey guys, I saw that there was a DIY day for BMWCCA members at BMW of Sterling this Sunday. Am I wrong?

Anyway, Is anyone planning on going?
I am not registered to attend, but would like to come watch/help/learn.

I was planning on it, but it was re-scheduled to something later in the year. I think the next one is June 16.

What mods are you planning - I would like to come watch if you dont mind .. since I dont have a 335i coupe to work on

Why do you assume I make a mini-GTG out of everything

Actually a DIY day would be nice...see who has some projects lined up. I probably can't make that date, I'll be in San Jose in business..

I was hoping others would help me with DIY b/c I'm the least mechanically inclined person ever. Actually most of what I wanted to do was cosmetic: whiter AE/fog lights, painted reflector, front aero lip.

Most people could probably do these at home, but I'm such an idiot, I'd rather be in the company of people who can figure these things out

I dont think you need very much for a Procede install... Vishnu did it at at parking lot when he was here. those DIY stalls/lifts arent free.

fyi.. imo

This is true. The real advantage is that BMW Techs will be on hand.. so if anyone has something more technical planned - let us know.

plus.. I dont think you want to let a BMW dealer that you are putting on a Procede... I mod that most folks are keeping scret to the dealership

He's probably afraid that he'll get addicted to it like crack and have to sell everything he's got to get one of his own. Or he may just run off and never return it. Another sign of a person addicted to crack. Not speaking from experience here.

so true, I was mostly afraid to get tickets or crash my car. My insurance has finally gone WAY down and would like to keep it that way.

Just remember, a car will only go as fast as you make it go.
I had a well modifiied Audi S4 with lots of power. For the most part I drove it very civilized but every now and then, I would punch it. Boy did it feel good. Can't wait to get my 335.
