If you key falls from the slot, you may repair it this way

So in my car the key lock was broken, this lead to the key falling on bumpy roads or in corners. I decided to remove the key lock and investigate and it turned out that a small leg or clip from inside the module was broken. I decided to use some epoxy clay to try to simulate the function of said broken part.

I am trying to do as many diy because I am currently locked down in quarantine

Hope this diy can some day help someone

Ohh that's clever. I just replaced mine week ago, got an used one for 15 pounds from fleabay

15 pounds sounds great, in my country I couldn't find the replacement part. As an update, this has worked just fine. Same as new
