delrin rear subframe bushings on a DD
As life goes with a young family--the day of diesel trucks and race cars are over. I recently sold my my Spec Miata but picked up a low mile 2009 328i sedan 6mt as a 3rd vehicle for the family. I'm attempting to have a car I can drive comfortably on the street but sneak off to track as time allows and be happy with. Have not put on track yet but attempting to prep
Picked up some apex arc-8 in the recent group by along with some camber plates from vorshlag. Last mod I was contemplating was delrin rear subframe bushings. Just doesn't seem right to have a second set of bushings isolating the wheels from the car. And a recipe for odd handling characteristics when driving at 9/10ths Long story short, is anyone running delrin subframe bushings on the street? How bad is it? This car is also a car my wife likes to drive when she needs a break from the Honda odyssey so I need to keep that in perspective! Thanks for any input in advance... |

Many people replace them with solid aluminum units and reportedly can barely tell with regards to nvh.
Just don't replace the diff bushing with anything other than OE |
