Got DINAN Software Yesterday
I went to Thompson BMW in doylestown, PA. Dan in parts who handles the performance division at the dealership was very helpful. Made the process hassell free.
After completing the software They washed the vehicle for me and pulled it up front. The total with tax and everything was $2007.58. He took 10% off the price and 10% off the labor. Performance- The car when first started def has a different exaust note, seems a little throtier (sp). I have a 6mt. When starting from first there is no more stutter or anything, VERY smooth. I still have not totally gotten on it in first gear. However second gear roll is absolutley insane. Once the pedal is about 75-80% down the thrust is amazing. It feels like a totally different car. Then shifting to third the car leaps foward and third feels like your ripped into the seat 100mph comes up insanely fast. I never felt any other piggyback or anything but this is absolutley amazing . The car also runs cooler than before by about 20 degrees. Overall- The drivability of the car is totally upgraded. Smooth all around. However crusing at 75 80 mph there is a bit more drone in the cabin. Nothing too much, just a little louder than stock. The pull of the car is amazing and can't wait to pull next to something that has no idea whats coming to him. For the price, to me its worth it not having to install anything and worry about warranty. I'm not into dynos or how much power at the wheels. I will bring it to the track when it warms up though. Its put such a SMILE on your face when that car is pulling second to third... It really feels like i can't loose on the street, even though thats not true.

I know exactly how you feel. I just went from stock to V2 two days ago. Enjoy and drive safe. Oh~ how's your mileage. Mine went from 19MPG to about 16~17MPG. I don't know maybe it's the way i drive now. Anyways have fun ^^

My MPG went up as I gained mileage. I went from 17.5mpg when I picked the car up to 19mpg when I installed the Procede, to currently 23mpg here in GA and I'm not shy at all about the throttle. Guess it depends on how you drive.

Congratulations Murphy. Is Thompson BMW the closest BMW/Dinan Dealership in our area (NJ)?

I've purchased a 350z(they no longer have the Nissan franchise) and a Lexus IS 250 AWD from the Thompson group in Doylestown PA. They are about 30 miles away and not my closest dealership. The buying experience was not high pressure and I was treated well. Had an incedent with service but it got rectified to my satisfaction. Did not get my 335i from them due to having a previous relation with CA at Daniels in Allentown. Have yet to have to take the BMW in for any service in the 10 month I have had the car.

Is your car leased? If so, did the dealer say anything about lease turn-in?
My current 07 e90 335i lease is up in October and I think I want to order an 08 or 09 so I can get my money's worth from the Dynan software. My 335 is bone stock and I am DYING to get the Dynan software.

Ask your dealer, if I can remember correctly, there are two BMW/Dinan dealers in the Indy area. Yes? |

Sorry - my typing got ahead of my brain. I am aware of only Dryer & Reinbold in Indy. I'm 99% sure they are a Dinan dealer. Dealership is about 200 yards down the street from my office. I need to get off my butt and go down there and talk to my sales associate.
