WeissLicht Ultra-Bright LED Version 2

Hello,

As the title say I bought the WeissLicht Ultra-Bright LED Version 2, but it sucks, only the inner ring lights up, even at night u barely see the outer rings. if your eye level is with the lights you can see the outer ring barely lit. I bought this at http://www.bimmian.com/92/LHU/ (Canada).

I am returning these, they want a 25% re-stocking fee but whatever. Now I need to find a solution Since I am in Canada its hard for me to get the OSS or LS-3 done. I am thinking of going with LUX H8 V3 White Illumination.

http://www.bimmian.com/92/LUX/

My question is, with the LUX will there be a noticeable difference from the WeissLicht or will it be the same where I have to adjust my stance to look at the lights.

I did do search after search, but there are lots of mixed info out there. Any help is appreciated.

Hey there, this seems to be an installation issue. You need to loosen the screws on the base and rotate the top so that the LEDs line up with the fiber optic pickups. Contact bimmian customer service for information on how to do this.

Thats what I figured, I asked customer service and they sent me the youtube clip. I checked the PDF file for the alignment mind you its for an older version, it says to have the configuration as "UP". it came from the Vendor as "UP".

There's a group buy going on right now for LUX - check the Canada forums, I think there's a link.
