Help BMW Performance Exhaust for E90 323i
Hi all, have to say sorry first up. This topic may have been discussed to death already. I am having some serious conflict of information about part and its compatibility. I am look at the BMW performance Exhaust for my 2011 E90 323i. The part number is 18407646693 and was wondering if this bad boy will fit my car. Or if not I am up for some advice on what exhaust others have found to be good and ofcause sounds tremendously awesome... Man thanks heaps in advance for any help.

Funnily enough I did look that part up but it mentioned that it will fit a 323i USA which in my noobness further confused the crap out of me. I am unsure of what is the different between USA 323i to eur 323i.

I had the PE installed early this year. The only complaint I have is it's not loud enough. What we get in Australia is just the muffler component, where in the U.S. you get the muffler and the silencer delete Y-pipe which makes it loud AF.

Thanks man. I will research into all of these suggestion. Eisenmann was crazy expensive. So still tossing. Waiting for the insurance company to pay me out so that I can make a decision.

Custom exhausts sounds good and will in theory give u exactly what you want. Issue is workmanship. I've gone from custom to just putting on an eisenmann one. TBH I think the custom one sounds better but performance wise I think there is less restriction with the eisenmann when I drive. That's my experience. Another consideration is when u go custom u can do your mid pipes.
That said, custom gives u more bang for your buck. But good aftermarket exhaust are designed for the car already so they tend to be good too. |
