Lets speak on phone to confirm everything later in week - but i think aim to be at mine for around 6am - then we wont be panicking or rushing to meet up with Tony at the Blackwall Tunnel. I will confirm a time and place for us to meet Tony.
O/T i know but dont care - did you put OEM brake pads in and are you happy with them?

Yes mate OEM brake pads with my old used discs. Fine apart from some ''grabbing'' not sure what causes that but am going back for rear pads on wed so will get them to look at it.

They did 7 miles in the DXB too

Attn: Boof, Steve, Fandango, whoever else is coming...

*** NURBURGRING PHOTOS ***

I forgot to ask you lot whether you wanted any professional pictures of you and your car taken whilst hammering around the 'Ring this weekend. My friend Jochen is the 'Ring's main pro photographer (he took the pics of my car I posted up a while ago) and he's willing to give people dedicated picture sessions, as opposed to just general shots of people going round. A complete session of pics is around the 100 Euro mark (I think - will double-check), and you pay for the session, not per picture, so it's the most economical way of getting high-res pro pics... And you get a lot of pics too (I had around 20 if I recall)

If you're interested, let me know NOW and I'll book him in for you.

And thinking about it, if all of you want to have pics, we can probably organise a group discount thing... will have to check.

Just curious - have i misread what you get for your money, but how does he manage to take "multiple" images of the same car in one lap?? Has he got other photographers posted all round the circuit??? Or does he use his Go Go Gadget legs to propel himself at 200 mph at strategic points around the Ring!!???

BBC and various weather websites with forecasts for Germany. Still, weather forecasts have been sh*t recently so I'm not taking too much notice of them. All we can do is see when we get there!!

Looks like it'll be wet at some point over the weekend, but hopefully it'll dry pretty quickly when its not raining. I'll keep an eye out for your guys - I'm going in my E91 (silver, german plates) with a friend, hopefully catch up with you there (can't join the convoy because we're getting the 10am ferry to Dunkirk).

Guys, right. Lets compile a list of stuff we need for this trip

Green card? Which i presume is the certificate of insurance. Nothing else needed from insurance?

Warning triangle? Where is this located in moir car?

High vis jacket type thing, i have a work orange one so suppose this will do?

Fire extinguisher? is this mandatory or what?

Need my DXB of course?

Skid lid for the ring

Toothbrush and bathroom essentials.

WHAT ELSE?
