Knocked headlight out of place?

So I hit a very big pothole, durning the day. And later at night I turned my car on and I noticed my headlight being very low, restarted my car to see if the auto adjust would fix it and it didn't. So I drove home with very dark roads, and at home I tried to manually adjust it, when I tried to turn the knob with a flat head the headlight wouldn't move up or down, tried it on my other headlight and it would move. It still does move side to side when I turn (using high beams) I can see it turn.

Sounds like it fell out of its socket your most likely going to have to pull the headlight out to put it back in its socket

If you have adaptive xenon, there's sensors under the struts (or in that area I believe). Could've knocked one loose?

I had a broken little bracket thing when mine did this. Had it fixed under an extended warranty. If you have to replace it, don't go near the dealer. The warranty invoice showed $1700 worth of parts and labor to replace one headlight.
