335i New shock suggestions please
I have 40kmiles on my '08 335i sedan sport. I have stock sport springs with stock shocks. I am planning on swapping the shocks soon.
What do you recommend for a daily driver? I was looking at FSD or Bilsteins. Any thing else you just really love out there? |

Bilstein HD or Koni Sport with OE sport springs. Skip the FSD's. There's plenty to read in this forum.

cvc will probably tell you... erratic behavior over some surfaces... that seems to be the conclusion on our board.
Bilstein HD can be used with either the sport or non-sport stock springs. They are a noticeable improvement in stabiilty and road holding for your car at a slight increase in firmness of ride. Because of their strength - look at the diameter of the shock tube, they actually take stress of your other suspension/steering components and make everything last longer. Great side benefit. |
