What's your next car going to be?

Just curious as to what you drive now, and what you think your next purchase may be?

One thing I have noticed is that our cars make power easily and produce some pretty damn good numbers with the usual mods (fmic intake dp's tune etc) 0-100 in 4 seconds and low-mid 12 second quarters.

When you start to compare alternatives out there, these numbers stack up pretty damn well even with the big $ alternatives M3/C63...

Im at the stage where my e92 may be my last toy and i need to think of something more practical maybe an RS4 avant in a few years time.....

I dont mind this one:

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/de...13853310/?Cr=2

Manual, V8 soundtrack, awesome looking engine bay with carbon bits, practical wagon somewhat sedate in terms of styling yet also aggressive but that interior looks dated......

So yeah what options are you thinking of for a replacement vehicle?

Bought an F30 335i to replace my E90, but the quality of the build is so poor I have just traded it in on a demo Audi Q7.... the 3.0TFSI engine is highly tuneable, and despite its lardy arse, the Q7 actually handles pretty well all things considered. It'll be joined by a Caterham Super 7 in a couple of months which will handle the "fun" duties

Well I am afraid you have stolen my thunder as the RS4 is also on the top of my list and you have there a stunning example. The other right now would be the the E92 M3. Both choices simply because I've never owned a V8.

Currently have an E90 335 M Sport - despite no kids, thinking an X5 next time for size and comfort. Like this one: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...D-970691/?Cr=4

Considering my X5 is going to be around for another year or two for work purposes, i have been wanting to get a second more sportier (V8 bruiser) car for alternating with the misses. I have being looking at quite a few bang for your buck options, first being the new 2014 8speed tran SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee/Chrysler 300. Second option being the new VF R8 with SV option, after enquiring about it the driveaway price was 86k. The GTS is 100k driveaway, so for a minuscule difference i thought why not a 430kw GTS with a bit of negotiating.

Too many mid to high 4 second bracket options available for decent prices compared to euro's. If my wedding didn't take a big chunk of cash id just go straight to MB dealer and get a demo C63 coupe in black. Moral of the story is don't get hitched

Edit: Totally forgot about the CLA AMG...fark! There are choices galore.

This is my fifth BM and I think I will have it a few years more. Not sure if I can afford an upgrade

Planing on a A45 AMG subject to test drive otherwise Msport F30 320D. Had a F30 320D as a loaner and really enjoyed it.

Currently E92 335, loving it for now but have my heart set on a C63. Just bought the Mrs a Range Rover Sport. Even though its the V8 Supercharged model its not that impressive, TBH my Cayenne was much nicer to drive. I think I would have been better going for the X6 35i then do minor mods.

have a 2011 335i. Really hanker after a V8, either M3 or C63.

Perhaps the M3 last of the V8's will become a collectors item ?

I will look to upgrade end of calender year.

I would like a M3 but then it would be very similar in looks to what I have now!!

Has anyone wondered if with just a tune would the 335 be faster than the m3 or even as quick on the straight line?

Audi s4 tuned is almost on par with the rs4! with just a tune !

My next vehicle would probably be a more practical one. So maybe something that has 4 doors and yet has decent performance.

I would love a M3 or C63.. If not a decent 4x4 such as the new RR Sport or X5 in a few years time.

I hope someone from BMW actually reads this forum. There are quite a no. of people who need practicality in there cars. Not everyone wants an SUV or a coupe. They need to be able to throw stuff in the back, ie not just a boot, but still have a good car. (Personally, I think the medium sized wagons look great too.) Thats why Touring/Estates/Avants are made. Whats wrong with BMW in OZ. You can get a 335D or a 335 Touring in UK. ie right hand drive. Why not here??? I've asked. No volume, they say. Increase the power of my 320D with a BMW power pack? Nope sorry, not in Australia, you can if your anywhere else in the world. You ask what my next cars going to be? An Audi A4 3.0TD Avant. (If you want a V8 check out the RS4 Avant at Classic Throttle Shop, WOOHOOO!!!! Half the price of the B7.) I want a wagon with oodles of poke without the fuel bills. I've had a good hard look at the current F series too and I don't think they are a quality build any more. You've also shrunk the engine sizes in the F31s. Get real BMW. Sorry guys, bit of a rant, just had to say it.

Just got a E90 335i M Sport, quite happy with the car for now but a V8 euro like a C63 or RS4 would be nice in a few years time.

For me i only drive & torque about diesel
I probably had one of the faster 320d in Sydney (toe2toe with 330d) but still not satisfy with the power. I too wanna get my hand on the twin turbo beast 335D but they are not officially available here. So i got the next best thing Audi A5 3.0 TDI. Not only in my eye they are OMFG stunning they have the best sounding diesel in the world. Do you believe a "diesel" can sound like a GTR?

I too was struggling to wait for the F30 or the 4series but after seeing these photos i am so glad i made the right decision for not waiting for the 4series.
