Dry ice to fix dents?

Got a small silver dollar size dent on my right rear fender. someone told me dry ice works....I looked it up and saw a vid of it working...any exp with this?

well I know PDR guys try to make the metal expand and contract with heat and cold, I'm not sure its as easy as putting a piece of dry ice on the dent though

what the heck.


i might try this tomorrow on my tahoe and see if it works. i wonder if a can of air help upside down would work

Some people have been able to do it that way with some success. I think both methods will only work on certain dents and be limited to what they can take out. Let us know how it works out.

Trued the hair dryer one....2 minutes at almost point blank...then upside down air can..nothing maybe bmw bodies are too tough?
