Anybody out there with the AA chip?
Im looking to do it to my 09 335i coupe as well as their intercooler, just want to know how good it works, reliability, power etc... Do you recommend it or should I search elsewhere? |

Would I be looking for the Juice Box Stage 3 (JB3) Plug & Play? The one that only costs $579 compared to AA's $795
Would I be able to install this myself and also would I be able to uninstall it a couple times a year without doing damage to my ECU? |

The AA processor 1 and 2 are both pinout, so it is a PITA so install and extracting wires out of your DME will be obvious to the dealer. Get a PROcede, JB3 or GIAC. the First two are PNP and a breeze to install and the GIAC is a flash.

AA2 came out. The only news about it on the forum was a guy complaining that every time he went WOT he went into limp mode and threw a ton of codes like 4X4 and brake problems.
The people at AT are nice people but there are other companies that are fully dedicated to their tune, offer unbelievable support, and constantly work to make their tunes better. Not to mention that they are much more adjustable on the user end, come in PNP versions, etc. |

In terms of the best bang for the buck I would definitely recommend for you the JB3 PNP kit for the The JB3 provides safe, reliable increase in horsepower and torque. With over 15 unique maps to choose from (stock maps to race maps). You will see a gain of over 80whp and 80wtq on pump gas; 180whp and 155wtq with race gas and bolt-ons!!

i love the AA intercooler! great investment... i have a m3 front so the intercooler is exposed much more to the air than with a oem front bumper

Don't get butt hurt, it's simply a fact.
You can't give the AA xede processor away practically . Why do you think that is? And 795 for a pin-out? Just how out of touch is this company? Compared to the tried and proven Proceed and JB3 it is WORTHLESS |

so the AA software is now just a rebranded jb3. They only offer it as a pinout and have the nerve to charge 200 more than jb3's fully PNP version. Thats just crazy. AA makes some really good intercoolers, exhausts, etc but the software thing is a huge joke. Why not do the fully PNP version and maybe charge a little extra for the AA symbol to be on it. Im shocked they do this. There are people who arent as aducated in this sort of stuff that obviously buy it though. not a bad score for bms though.
