It's helps so you won't throw codes. So in states that also look you might not pass. This is same as what BMS used to sell but the JB4 alone doesn't take care of this. I have this one works great. I passed emissions in PA and MD so I can't complain.

but you can hook it up with JB4

to be able to pass inspection you have to disable JB4

and use a DP FIX
