335i squeak

I know so many people have posted about this, but it sounds like that squeak coming from the wheels. Has anyone figured out what the problem is or how to fix it?

Thanks

Front or rear? At all speeds or slow speeds. Rear brakes are known for accumulating dust and causing squeaks at lowspeeds. Normally addressed by pulling rear wheels, cleaning and lubing contact points (on brake calipers).

you know, i can't really tell where it's coming from but it seems like the rear. Did you clean it yourself or take it to a dealership/shop?

You may need to bed-in your brake pads. When you come to a full stop and your brakes are real hot, they can leave deposits on that part of the rotor, making it thicker. When you cruise at low speed you are hearing that thick part of the rotor going by the brake pad...So it's like Squeak-quiet-squeak-quiet-squeak-quiet, as the wheel turns. Look up online how to do a brake pad bed-in, which is basically to go fast, then quickly brake ALMOST to a stop, then go fast again, and quickly brake ALMOST to a stop, repeat until you feel your brakes are nice and hot (5-6 times, all in quick succession) and then cruise for several minutes to let them cool slowly. It's important not to come to a complete stop until they are cool. Do a google search.
