v25 was a major update. v26 had nothing new for E9x. v27 doesn't look like a big deal.

I'll wait for a more major update that fixes problems I'm having or further improves the nav. For example, the little pause in the middle of playing MP3s about 30 seconds after you start the car is a bit annoying. And three or four times now, I've had my Address Book displayed in some crazy non-alphabetical order (never happened before v25). An update fixing those things would be welcome.

The scrambling of the phonebook is a configuration problem that they can fix on any version.

I got the latest update (27.x). These are the issue I found that are fixed:

• Jerkiness in 1st gear when accelerating from a closed throttle with an automatic. Best described as the car hesitates and literally falls on it face. You can now punch the throttle at will.
• Engine sluggishness when getting off the throttle (near closed throttle) then reapplying the throttle. The response is nice and smooth no matter how hard you punch it.
• Transmission is much smoother and snappier and far more responsive in DS mode. The aggressive map in DS mode (there is two) is now far more aggressive on shift point. The transmission seems to adapt very quickly when you start driving aggressively….before it did not.
• Occasional light clunk (felt more than heard) with automatic in DS mode downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and downshift from 2nd to 1st around 5 MPH or near stop with engine RPM at 1400 -2100. Version v26 and v25 downshifting behavior is not the same.
• Brake assist and sticky brakes seems to be fixed. I forgot about this problem as I did not have my car for 2 weeks but just drove it again and it something you don’t have to think about anymore.
• Humming motor from the dash from upgrade v26 – fixed.

I had my car in for service due to another problem so I was surprised when I got my car back and the things that were pissing me off are now gone.
