Q: Once you have this dilema solved, is this something exclusive to all Procede users or it can be used in the N54 engine no matter what tuning you are using?

It currently is Procede specific since we had to write dedicated code to control the fuel system electronics. But we will provide the information on how to get other tuning devices to work with it. No reason why everyone can't benefit from this.

I also agree with everyone else about the patent on your idea... again, kudos Shiv!

So what gives out first, the stock turbo efficiency range or the stock fuel system?

I forsee lots of people needing to beef up their drivetrain and transmissions first

I am very curious to see the results of an upgraded system on a FOB stage 2 car. From these forums, it seemed that fuel wasn’t an issue unless you ungraded your turbos. Yes, many folks are using meth to supplement fuel, but for the purposes of increasing both effective and actual octane to allow for more psi. But were folks just running FOB and meth, wasn’t effective octane causing the main issues?

As I put performance mods into two buckets, those mods that provide sufficient increase performance and safety measures to justify the cost (stage 2) and those that would be better saved and spent on my next car (LSD, bigger turbos, suspension, brakes, power train). So, is it to early to start discussing the price of a fuel system upgrade?

Great work Shiv! I was pondering the other day if there was ever a future for this platform. Looks like you just opened it up for the whole community.

No point discussing the price..it always ends up going the wrong way

Rather than discuss pricing, let's discuss the benefits this can have on a FBO 335i not running meth or upgraded turbos. Any improvement to be seen?

It was indicated that this will be out prior to the meth kit, and the meth kit is supposed to start shipping at the end of this month. So if this is true, we are weeks away from some release. I dont, know, I was just curious.

So its going to be a glorified boost a pump with the piggy side keeping the ecu happy?

I would imagine you can run more boost without meth. More fuel to mix with more air. Safer and more consistent AFR's at higher power levels.

That's exactly what I was wondering. I imagine meth will still be used for IAT but not as a bandaid for the fueling anymore

Stock turbo's are very efficient at lower RPM... lets do some 22psi from 2k-5k tapering to 17 at redline, could be 500wtq down low all day! Reminds me of my SRT4 days... like 400tq and 280whp lol.
